Another great weekend, and finally got to the top of this one
Canoe Canoe sourced and transported, just some last minute packing then we are off.

Not a bad day to set sail.  Our usual departure point, looking over to Sgurr an Fhurain, which I must come back to do sometime.

So after a tough paddle up Loch Quioch we opted to camp at the mouth of the Abhainn Chosaidh, as we were getting tired.

Not too bad a spot.  Last known picture of  Stuart's right croc!

The quick sand claims Stuart's croc.  Thankfully he made it out alive.

Anyone spot a campsite?

Croc hunting!  Unsuccessful

Not a bad spot for a couple of nights.

Accomodation sorted.

Time for tea.

Relaxing after dinner

The next day Stuart and I headed up Sgurr a'Choire-bheithe.  Mark was suffering from cold/flu,  so best thing is hang around a desolate beach all day waiting for us to come home.

Filling up with water

Off we go.

Start of the long walk up the Drum Chosaidh

Loch Quoich and Garich

Little lochan

A long way to go

From the left we have Sgurr non Coireachan, Sgurr na Ciche, Ben Aden, Luinne Bheinn and Ladhar Bheinn, and finally our hill for the day, at the far away end of this ridge.

Still a fair way to go, and two rocky bits to negotiate.

Smashing.

Look, Loch Nevis

Getting colder

Looking back to Loch Quioch

Last pull up to the summit, and the clouds roll off.

Then the rather steep descent down to Mam Unndalian.  We should have gone a bit further west!

Wandering back up the path to the head of Loch Quioch

The long walk out.

Nearly back at camp, a little later than anticipated.

What we did

Final morning

Ready to set sail for home.  A bit choppier than it looks

Putting into shore to bail the boat.  At this point I was set for walking the rest of the way.

But we made it safely.  Just to lug the gear back to the car and we are on our way. Great weekend.
